1. The Children's Fund (area of greatest need)
The Lucile Packard Children’s Fund provides flexible support for the hospital’s greatest needs, including programs that are not covered by insurance. Your support of the Children's Fund helps provide patients and families with the best care today and hope for tomorrow.

2. Auxiliary Focus Area: Teen Health Van

The Stanford Children’s Health Teen Van is a mobile clinic offering free health services to uninsured and underinsured youth, ages 12 to 25, in the San Francisco Bay Area.

3. Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center
Your support helps our world-class pediatric heart program provide comprehensive treatment and care for patients of all ages, from newborns to young adults.

4. Cancer research
Your support helps pediatric specialists at Stanford School of Medicine turn research discoveries into new therapies, and ensures some of the nation’s best outcomes for children facing cancer and blood diseases.

5. Center for Autism and Related Diseases
By supporting innovative and collaborative research at the Stanford Autism Center at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, you help open the door to promising new therapies for children with autism spectrum disorders.

6. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Improving mental health research and care is one of the most important issues for young people—and our world-renowned Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is working to address this head on. Your Summer Scamper fundraising will support four key strategies: performing forward-thinking research, identifying young people who are at risk or are experiencing early symptoms, providing rapid access to a continuum of care, and widely disseminating knowledge and services.

7. Family Guidance and Bereavement Program
The Family Guidance and Bereavement Program at Packard Children’s provides services for families facing the loss of a child, including support groups, written and video materials, and commemorative events, as well as educational sessions for physicians, nurses, and social workers. 

8. Neonatology research
Our hospital saves the lives of some of the tiniest, most fragile newborns. With your support, we can continue to advance neonatal research and ensure a healthier start for more newborns nationwide.  

9. Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research
In response to the growing epidemic of allergies, the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University is working to find the underlying cause and a lasting cure. Your gift through Summer Scamper will strengthen our community outreach to connect, educate, and support allergy patients and their families.

10. Transplant research
Our pediatric kidney, liver, and intestinal transplant programs continually work to improve the treatment for our patients. Research supported by your donations aims to increase the longevity of transplanted organs, develop bioartificial organs, and limit the need for immunosuppressive drugs by transplant recipients.
