Race Day Schedule
7:30 a.m. Packet Pick Up opens
Race-day registration
Registration closes at 8:45 a.m.
8:30 a.m. 5k racers begin staging
8:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony
9:00 a.m. 5k Wheelchair Division Start and Family Festival opens
9:05 a.m. 5k Race Start
10:00 a.m. All-Star Spotlight
10:30 a.m. Kids' Fun Run: ages 3-4, 200 yard run
10:50 a.m. Kids' Fun Run: ages 5-6, 400 yard run
11:00 a.m. Kids' Fun Run: ages 7-8, 600 yard run
11:10 a.m. Kids' Fun Run: ages 9-10, half mile run
12:00 p.m. Event concludes
Start Line:
Our Start/Finish line is on Galvez Street between Campus Drive and Memorial Way, in front of the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center.
Timing:
Your official clock begins when you cross the Start Line. We will start the race in waves, beginning with the Wheelchair Division, followed by the 5k. This year, we will not be announcing race winners on stage, but will follow-up after the race.
Time Limit:
The 5k course will be open until 10:30 a.m. This provides 5k walkers time to complete the course at a 30-minute-per-mile pace.

Directions & Parking
Summer Scamper will take place on the beautiful Stanford campus. Free parking is available at:
Parking Lot 1: The Varsity Lot
Parking Lot 2: El Camino Grove Parking Lot
All-Stars and Sponsors, Vendor, and ADA Parking: Galvez Lot
A section of the Galvez Lot will be roped off for VIP and vendor parking. Galvez lot passes will be distributed the prior to the event and must be presented to enter the lot.
Public Transportation: the Start line is located one mile form the Palo Alto/University Ave. Caltrain station.
From 101: Exit Embarcadero Road/Oregon Expressway. Merge onto Embarcadero Road going west. Embarcadero becomes Galvez at El Camino Real. Continue onto Galvez Street. Turn right onto Nelson Road to enter the lot.
From 280: Exit Sand Hill Road going east toward Menlo Park/Stanford University. Continue onto Sand Hill Road. Turn right onto Arboretum. Turn right onto Galvez Street. Turn right onto Nelson Road to enter lot.
