United We Scamper Challenge
It's time to step up our Scamper fundraising, and United Airlines, the Official Airline of Summer Scamper, is swooping in to help us big time with the United We Scamper Challenge! Get 5 people to donate on your Scamper fundraising page, and you will be entered to win TWO ROUNDTRIP TICKETS ON UNITED AIRLINES.
Yes, you read that correctly. We know you don't need a reason to fundraise for children's health, but it doesn't hurt to be appreciated. Come July, you could be hiking the Colorado Rockies, soaking up the sun in the Caribbean, or taking selfies with the World's Largest Cheese Wheel in Ohio (hey, you do you).
The Fine Print
- The 2017 United We Scamper Challenge ends on Sunday, June 25, 2017 (race day) at 9 a.m.
- To qualify, you must be a registered 2017 Scamper participant (volunteer, 5k, 10k, kids' fun run, or virtual racer), and have at least 5 people donate on your online Scamper fundraising page by Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 9 a.m.
- One winner will be chosen randomly during the Awards Ceremony on stage at Summer Scamper.
- The winner will receive two economy cabin roundtrip tickets on United Airlines. The tickets can be used throughout 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America (valued at $700 each).
- The tickets are valid between July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018.
- The winner will be solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on the prize. The winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the fair market value of the prize.
- If the winner declines to accept the prize, a second winner will be chosen.
