Start Line: Our Start/Finish line is on Galvez Street between Campus Drive and Memorial Way, in front of  the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center.

Timing: Your official clock starts when you cross the Start line. We will start the race in waves, starting with the 10k, followed by the 5k.

Time Limit: The 5k and 10k courses will be open until 9:30 a.m. This provides 10k runners time to complete the course at a 15-minute-per-mile pace.

Summer Scamper will take place on the beautiful Stanford campus. Free parking is available at the Varsity Lot and El Camino Grove Parking Lot.

VIP and vendor parking will be available at the Galvez Lot. Galvez lot passes will be distributed the week prior to the event and must be presented to enter the lot.

Public Transportation: the Start line is located one mile form the Palo Alto/University Ave. Caltrain station.

From 101: Exit Embarcadero Road/Oregon Expressway. Merge onto Embarcadero Road going west. Embarcadero becomes Galvez at El Camino Real. Continue onto Galvez Street. Turn right onto Nelson Road to enter the lot.

From 280: Exit Sand Hill Road going east toward Menlo Park/Stanford University. Continue onto Sand Hill Road. Turn right onto Arboretum. Turn right onto Galvez Street. Turn right onto Nelson Road to enter lot.

Our 5k and 10k courses share a common Start/Finish on Galvez Street in front of the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center.

While we’ll do our best to adhere to the mapped routes, we appreciate your flexibility and understanding in the event of last-minute changes due to unforeseen construction or street closures. Your safety is our #1 priority!
